The village administrator is responsible for the overall management and provision of public services to Village residents and visitors. Additionally, he prepares the necessary information for each meeting of the Village Board of Trustees and insures that the Board’s policy directives are carried out. He typically meets with citizens to discuss Village issues or problems, presents, and manages the annual Village Budget, facilitates capital improvement projects, and works with various local, state, and federal agencies on matters of mutual concern. In a small community such as Paddock Lake, the administrator is frequently a “jack of all trades” who may handle any number of initiatives or problems.
