License and Permits

Liquor Licensing

The Village of Paddock Lake Clerk has all the necessary forms and information to guide you through the liquor licensing process. Current liquor licenses expire on June 30th of each year.

Renewal license applications are hand delivered, by the Village Clerk to current holders of licenses, by April 15th. A signature is required when these are delivered. The renewal licenses and license fees must be returned to the Village Clerk by May 15th, to allow for publication and background checks. Failure to return the these renewal applications will result in additional fees and penalties.

Further information regarding liquor licenses and their renewals is available from the Village Clerk, Emily Uhlenhake, at (262) 843-2713.

How to License Your Dog

The cost of the license is $5.00 for each neutered/spayed dog and $11.00 for each unneutered/unspayed dog. Dogs under the age of five (5) months do not require a license.

There is a $10.00 late fee for any dog license purchased after March 31st.

Dog licenses are valid from January 1st thru December 31st and must be purchased each year. These licenses may be purchased at the Paddock Lake Village Hall and are generally available for the next year by December 15th.

Licenses can be sent by mail as long as a self addressed/stamped envelope is enclosed.

To license your dog, you must bring/mail the following:

Owners name, address, and phone number.

Dog’s name, breed, sex, and whether neutered/spayed.

Proof of neuter or spay from your veterinarian.

Proof of rabies vaccination from your veterinarian showing the date of the vaccination, vaccination expiration date, vaccine manufacturer, and vaccine serial number.

Cash, check, or money order. We do not accept credit cards or online payments.

Licenses purchased after March 31st will be charged a $10.00 late fee.

A “kennel” means any establishment or place where four or more dogs are kept. The Village does have kennel licenses, but kennels are only allowed under certain provisions and certain places. You must submit an application and it must be approved before a license is issued.

Pets found running at large in the Village of Paddock Lake are now being taken to Safe Harbor.
